An air humidifier used for regulating humidity in indoor spaces, such as residential flats, and in which the humidity has been produced by vaporizing water in a vaporizer. The problem in existing air humidifiers is the constant need to add water and the need of other maintenance, such as cleaning. In the air humidifier of the invention, these problems have been solved in the way that the air humidifier is connected to the water mains by means of a pipe. The water flow entering the vaporizer can be controlled with the aid of a valve, and after the water inflow has been stopped by the valve the heat stored in the walls of the vaporizer and in the electric resistance dries the vaporizer, while at the same time burning out the impurities in the vaporizer.

The invention relates to air humidification devices that provide humidification of indoor air, such as living rooms.
The purpose of the invention is to improve the quality of the air of a room by periodically sterilizing the evaporating element with heat from an electric heater.

Air humidifier 1 contains a vaporizing element 2, a water supply pipe 3, equipped with an electromagnetic shut-off valve 4, an electric resistance 5 in the form of electrical resistance, a humidity sensor (not shown), a water supply controller 6 and a control unit 7 connected to the humidity sensor , an electromagnetic shut-off valve 4 and an electric heater 5. The evaporation element 2 is made in the form of a vessel, on the external side of which the electric heater 5 is displaced, and the vessel is connected to the water supply pipeline 3 and the atmosphere of the room and contains a water supply regulator 6 located at the bottom of the vessel and associated with the control unit 7.
Humidifier works as follows.
The humidity of the room air is measured by a humidity sensor. When the humidity sensor detects that the air humidity is below a predetermined level, it sprinkles the signal to the electromagnetic shut-off valve 4, which opens the pipeline 3, and the water enters the evaporator element 2, made in the form of a vessel. When the water level in the evaporating element 2 rises to the level of the water supply regulator 6, the water supply regulator 6 sends a signal through the control unit 7 to the electromagnetic shut-off valve 4 to close the pipeline 3, as well as to turn on the electric heater 5.
As a result of the evaporator element 2 being heated by the electric heater 5, water begins to evaporate and enter the atmosphere of the room. As a result of evaporation, the water level in the evaporation element decreases and the water supply controller 6 sends a signal to open the water supply pipe 3.
The humidity sensor continuously monitors the humidity of the air in the room and, when the maximum humidity is reached, sends a signal to the control unit to close the solenoid shut-off valve 4 and to turn off the electric row 5.
After stopping the supply of water to the evaporation element 2, the heat accumulated by the walls of the evaporation element 2 and the electric heater 5 evaporates the water remaining in the evaporation element 2, and also heats the evaporation element 2 to a temperature at which all pollution particles burn. If necessary, it is possible to turn off the electric heater 5 a little later, turning off the water supply pipe from the pipe 3.
Dp to ensure more efficient distribution of moisture throughout the room, the humidifier can be equipped with an electric fan and, in addition, an air freshener.
